Athlete Report: ADEL VAN DER WALT - JUDO Dec 2013

Adel van der Walt has made a good start to the year where she competed in the Oceania champion-ships in Australia. She competed in both the Junior and Women divisions under 57kg. Her final re-sults were silver in both categories. Adel was also selected to go to the Senior World Championships in Rio De Janeiro to compete against the best in the world. She is now focusing on getting points to qualify for the Common Wealth Games in 2014. Adel will finish up her year by going to the Oceania World Cup in Samoa in mid November. She will continue to train hard at the Western Judo Academy.
