Athlete Report: LOGAN VAN GILS - JUDO Dec 2013

After a great start to the competitive year he has made a good come back after a mid year shoulder injury, to finish off the season with 2 Golds, and a Bronze at the South Island Judo Championships. At the New Zealand Judo Nationals in Wellington, Logan won a Gold, Silver and 2 Bronzes. This will hopefully line him up for selection to the Oceania Championships in Auckland early next year. With the competition season fin-ished for 2013 he has continued training at his club Western Judo Academy (Te Atatu) to stay fit, ready for the upcoming 2014 season. Logan has also been recognised by his school Avondale College with his appointment as a school Prefect for 2014.
