After some rough driving with David Hall after work on Thursday night we got to manfield at about midnight and slept at the gate before the Friday practise day. Friday was a good day as I got some good dry testing in before the tri-Series in December, so that was a positive. Saturday race day was looking pretty average weather wise. Qualifng was wet and I qualified 3rd in the F2 class. Race 1 was half/half conditions but everyone went out on wets as the infield was wet but the rest was patchy. I got a good start and was in second for a lap I, was able to outbrake Shane Richardson into Higgins and hold the lead for the whole race which I was very happy with. Race 2. The weather had really packed in now and the wets weren't looking to flash after the first race in drying conditions. I was 4th on the first lap but when Phillip went down I jumped into second behind Shane. After having a big out-of-the-seat moment out of turn one I just managed the bike and bring it home in second place behind Shane. Sadly race three was called off due to very poor weather. So I finished the day on equal points with Shane after both having a win and a second each. Big thanks to the bro David hall for helping me in the pits over the 2 days and to the Sponsors who keep me racing DHL ctas live timing Spill response Barns Jenkins insurance Suzuki New Zealand Colemans suzuki Team RCM Continental tyres JDAS Photos
