Lauren Boyle trains FAST swimmers

New Zealand swimming star, Olympian Lauren Boyle, thrilled the young athletes of children's swim club FAST - Fulton Amateur Swim Team - with an intimate lesson at its Patumahoe pool base on Friday.

Award-winning and record-breaking swimmer Boyle was invited to the special training by the swim team coaches and spent an hour chatting to the children about what makes a top swimmer before getting in the pool for some practical lessons with the youngsters.

FAST coach Ria Langit said: "Having Lauren Boyle was an amazing opportunity for the whole team. Having someone they admire spend time with them and share her swimming journey was so encouraging."
