Kendra Scally Tu'I
Achievements:
Kendra Scally is one of New Zealand’s most promising young sprint athletes, representing Waitākere Athletics Club and coached by Nuree Greenhalgh, competing under Athletics New Zealand. Competing across the U18 and U20 divisions, Kendra is currently ranked #1 in New Zealand in her age group.
Kendra has achieved outstanding success on both the national and international stage. In 2025, she delivered breakthrough performances in the United States, winning the 100m at the Mt SAC Relays in Los Angeles and finishing second in the 200m, where her time of 23.52 seconds set new New Zealand records across the U17, U18, U19 and U20 age groups. She also placed second in the 100m at the prestigious Arcadia Invitational, one of the top high school athletics meets in the world.
Domestically, Kendra has dominated national competitions, winning the U18 100m and 200m titles at the New Zealand Championships, while also claiming relay gold. She has set multiple secondary school and national age-group records, and previously won both the 100m and 200m titles at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Athletics Championships.
Internationally, she also achieved success at the Oceania Athletics Championships, where she won the U18 200m title and set an Oceania area record, along with podium finishes in the 100m and relay events.
Kendra currently holds the New Zealand U17, U18, U19 and U20 women’s 200m records, highlighting her exceptional speed and potential as she continues to develop at the highest levels of international sprinting.
