Levi Matherson is an emerging New Zealand archer competing in the Under-18 compound division, representing the Auckland Archery Club and coached by Linda Lainchbury. Competing under Archery New Zealand, she has quickly developed into one of the country’s promising youth archers, currently ranked #18 nationally.

Over the past few seasons she has achieved strong results across national and regional competitions, winning multiple titles at events including the North Island Youth Championships, North Island Championships, and Archery NZ Outdoor National Championships. She has also set several New Zealand age-group records in the U16 and U18 women’s compound categories, highlighting her rapid development and consistency in competition.

Her performances at national events have seen her progress through youth and open competition levels, achieving success in WA720, WA1440, matchplay, field, 3D and clout formats. She has also delivered standout personal performances, including new personal best scores and national records in the U18 Compound Women’s WA720.

A major milestone in her career came with selection to represent New Zealand internationally, competing at the World Archery Youth Championships in Winnipeg, Canada, where she delivered strong performances in both individual and team events. She also represented New Zealand at the Trans-Tasman Challenge in Christchurch, continuing to gain valuable international competition experience.

With continued success at national championships and international representation, she is building a strong foundation as she progresses through New Zealand’s archery pathway.
