Lex Revell-Lewis is one of New Zealand’s leading sprint athletes, representing Waitākere City Athletics Club and coached by Nuree Greenhalgh, competing under Athletics New Zealand in the senior division. He is currently ranked #1 in New Zealand for the 400m and #2 for the 200m.

Lex has established himself as one of the country’s top 400m runners, becoming the first New Zealander to run under 46 seconds, setting a new national record of 45.88 seconds. He is also a three-time New Zealand 400m national champion, demonstrating consistent dominance in the event.

Internationally, Lex has represented New Zealand at major competitions including the World University Games, where he placed 9th, and the Oceania Athletics Championships, finishing 4th against strong regional competition.

Looking ahead, Lex is focused on qualifying for the Commonwealth Games and achieving a podium finish at the Oceania Championships, as he continues to build toward his long-term ambition of competing at the Olympic Games in 2028 and reaching the Olympic final in 2032.
