Nuala Edmundson
Achievements:
Nuala Edmundson is one of New Zealand’s leading recurve archers, currently ranked #2 nationally in the Open division. She represents Mountain Green Archery Club and is coached by Dave Henshaw, competing under Archery New Zealand.
Nuala has achieved strong success at both international and national competitions, consistently performing at the highest level of the sport. International highlights include winning gold at the Oceania Archery Championships, earning silver in the mixed team event, and securing a bronze medal at the Pacific Games in the Solomon Islands. She has also competed at major international events including the World Archery Youth Championships and the Asia Cup in Singapore.
One of Nuala’s most significant achievements came at the Oceania Continental Qualifying Tournament in Auckland, where she won the event and secured a Paris 2024 Olympic quota place for New Zealand, demonstrating her ability to perform under pressure on the international stage.
Domestically, Nuala has won multiple titles at major events including the North Island Championships, Archery Warehouse Challenge, and National and regional tournaments, further establishing herself as one of the country’s top competitive archers
