2022 Scholarship Recipients
A 10 pin bowler Connor Frith has proved his class with a dominant performance at the New Zealand Nations for 2023 winning the men’s open singles, doubles and teams’ events. This follows hard on the heels of winning his first adult tournament, earlier in the year, in Hastings.
This success trumps the 2nd place finishes in tournaments in Wellington and Waitakere, while also being part of the team that took second place in the National Teams Championship and a part of the top 5 Male Allstars at the event.
Ahead of him is July’s Walter Rauchuig Teams event in Tasmania, where he will endeavour to defend the title, won last year by the Aotearoa Franchise Team which he captained.
Following the Walter Rauchuig there will be what he describes as a “another 3 week grind on the lanes” to hone his game ahead of joining the New Zealand National Squad heading to the Thailand Open in Bangkok.
